How Are They Sold?
- Packed Pallet on a Pallet: According to the panel dimensions.
- Vertical Orientation: Most factory packagings have panels standing vertically on the long side.
- Shipping in Less Than Pallet Quantities: Either in your vehicle or to a shipping company in packaged form.
- Protective Cardboard Corners: Every other panel in the stack has cardboard corners to create a microscopic distance between panel frames.

How to Properly Pick Up Panels from the Warehouse
- Ideal Option: Use a light trailer or a van with a flat floor. The panels’ own pallet packaging, secured with polypropylene packing tape and stretch film. Note that the pallet often requires return or additional payment.
- In a Passenger Car: Secure the panels with ratchet straps.
- For a Few Panels: Use cardboard, old blankets, or laminate underlay to separate them.
When picking up panels from the warehouse, preparation is key. A single damaged panel can lead to significant expenses.
Transporting Panels via a Carrier
- Generally Reliable: Carriers typically ensure proper packaging and safe delivery of panels.
- Options:
- Offers pallet or soft box packaging.
- Only offers pallet packaging.
From experience, the most common cause of glass damage in panels is the shifting of the frame of the upper panel onto the glass of the lower one, including when panels are picked up from the carrier’s warehouse.
Tip: Ask a neighbor for a light trailer.
